At approximately 2:52 am on Wednesday, November 9, Powell River RCMP responded to a theft from a residence in the 4400 block of Ontario Avenue.
A black and yellow Dynamax trolling motor and Canadian Tire 12V deep cycle battery were stolen from a locked truck that was parked in the carport.
The items were valued at approximately $884.
