Powell River RCMP seek public assistance to find missing woman

Linda (Diane) Albert has been missing for more than a month

Linda (Diane) Albert was reported missing to Powell River RCMP on January 13, 2024. Police first asked for the public's help to find Albert in a media release on January 18, and sent out another request today (February 15).

Albert is a 68-year-old Caucasian female described as being about five-feet, two-inches tall and having brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen by friends on January 6, but has not been heard from since.

Numerous searches by Powell River RCMP, Search and Rescue, Police Dog Services, West Coast Marine, BC Ferries and other community partners have been conducted. All searches have been negative and Albert has not been located.

Powell River RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance. Anyone who has seen Albert or knows of her whereabouts is asked contact Powell River RCMP at 604.485.6255 and quote police file number: 2024-185.
