RARE TWISTER: On his way to work at 5:45 am on June 9, Powell River resident Donald Foort took a photo of a funnel cloud out over the Salish Sea.
No damage has been reported.
A risk of thunderstorms remain in the forecast for the Powell River area today until 8 pm, according to Environment Canada.
