As of March 9, 2018, Jason Schreurs will be leaving his post as publisher/editor of Powell River Peak.
Jason began at the Peak in September 2015 and became publisher in January 2016. Jason plans to remain in Powell River and focus on his lifelong passion for music, writing and event planning.
Effective immediately, associate publisher Kelly Keil will become publisher. Kelly brings with her more than 20 years of experience working at the Peak, including more than a decade in managerial roles.
With change comes opportunity. Although Jason will be missed dearly at the Peak for his amazing contributions the past two and a half years, we are all excited to enter our next chapter in doing what we do best: connecting Powell River area residents and the business community with engaging content.
