Directors ask for coal plans
Powell River Regional District is seeking assurance that coal will not be stockpiled on Texada Island.
At the regional district’s Thursday, May 28, board meeting, directors considered a resolution based on correspondence dated April 29, 2015 from Powell River Parks and Wilderness Society regarding US thermal coal.
