Scene Around: PRISMA on the Beach

Willingdon Beach was filled with music lovers, art/food vendors, community organizations, and happy volunteers at Saturday's event

Symphony-goers converged on the lawns of Willingdon Beach for the annual PRISMA (Pacific Region International Summer Music Academy) on the Beach event on June 28.

The all-ages crowd was treated to a free, family-friendly feast of classical music from the PRISMA Festival orchestra, featuring students from around the world and singers and drummers from Tla’amin Nation.

Plenty of food and artisan vendors also set up at the beach, selling delicious food items and creative hand-made art work and crafts.
