There will be a closure of the Wildwood bridge on Friday, August 12, between midnight and 6 am.
The span connects the Townsite neighbourhood in City of Powell River to Wildwood, Tla'amin Nation and Lund.
According to Luxton Construction quality manager Alex Wilkinson, the bridge will be closed for deck resurfacing work.
“Emergency services in the area have been consulted,” stated Wilkinson, “and accommodation plans are in place in the event of an emergency.”
