A beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, Carmen Maria Rose Miller left this world too soon, on April 16, 2023.

Born in Powell River, BC, on July 11, 2001, to Cam and Deb Miller, Carmen grew up with a life of adventure and travel, and love.

Carmen leaves behind her grandparents Bill and Wendy Rose and Warren and Ingrid Miller; parents Cam and Deb Miller; three beautiful sisters Hayley, Brooklyn and Sydney, and so many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, June 17, at Max Cameron Theatre in Powell River, located at 5400 Marine Avenue. The ceremony will be followed by refreshments from 4 to 6 pm at Brooks Secondary School (same address).

Carmen was a lover of listening to music, dancing and being around people. She was funny, outgoing and vivacious. Her second name “Maria”, means “beloved” and “wished-for child.” She was that indeed. We will always remember her infectious smile, copper-penny brown eyes and caring personality.

When you think of Carmi, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.

Carmen was a loving and compassionate person who loved to be silly. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul.

Our Carmi loved her family, spending time with her sisters, friends, Trinity Western and Cactus Club family. She enjoyed trips to the cabin, camping, sitting by the fire while laughing and telling stories, and planning and dreaming of her future as a wife and mother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

“I am a daughter of the most high King, who is not moved by the world. For my God is with me and goes before me. I do not fear because I am His.”

“I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” ~ 2 Corinthians 6:18

“Jesus replied, l assure you that today you will be with me in paradise.” ~ Luke 23:43
