Our father passed away peacefully to join his loving wife of 64 years, Irene, who predeceased him.

Born and raised in Vancouver to parents Dr. Ernest and Hazel Campbell, David resided for most of his life in Victoria and Sidney, with his final years in Powell River. He is survived by his children Kathy (Pat), Barbara (Ross) and David (Kim); grandchildren Lindsay (Chris), Matthew (Vyctoria), Kristopher (Ali), Katie (Brendan), David (Taralee) and Rylan; and great-grandchildren Lily, Marin, Greyson, Amelia, Evelyn, Charlotte, Liam and Casey. He is also survived by his sister Arline; brother-in-law Roy (Gail); and many nieces and nephews.

David was a proud professional engineer (PEng) working for the City of Calgary, City of Victoria, Defence Construction and later Campbell Engineering. He was a longtime member of Uplands Golf Club. He had a passion for boating and spent the last decades on the “Linger” with Irene and many friends and family.

The family would like to express its gratitude to all the staff at Kiwanis Garden Manor and to Dr. Evans for their compassion and excellent care.
