With love and sadness we share the passing of Isobel Christine Arklie (née MacLeod), who left us unexpectedly on April 8, 2025.
Born on December 3, 1935, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she spent the majority of her life in Powell River.
Isobel was predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Arklie. She is survived by her children Donna (George), Susan (J), Cathy (Ray), Kevin (Kim) and Lisa (Vic), and also her 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A graveside gathering of friends and family will take place at Powell River Regional Cemetery on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 2 pm, to lay to rest both Isobel and Jack.
We welcome all who knew and loved her to join us in sharing stories, laughter and memories as we remember the joy she brought into our lives.
