Sadly, Neil Grant McLeod passed away on July 13. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years Patricia and his two sons Shane and Chad (Petra), and grandchildren CJ and Ashley.
Neil loved life and lived it to the full. Always a new adventure around the corner. Not much he didn’t try, but his real love was the Yukon, where he drove semi-trucks for WhitePass on the Alaska Highway, often stopping with his rock hammer along the way. His 15 years up there allowed him to realize his true passion as a prospector/rock hound. After a wife and child, the decision was made to move back to Powell river so as to be closer to the grandparents, where he spent the remainder of his years driving truck, logging and eventually bought and operated his own sawmill.
At Neil's request, no service will be held.
