Powell River Kings met Cowichan Valley Capitals in BC Hockey League (BCHL) Coastal Conference action at Cowichan Community Centre on Friday, December 16.
Powell River trailed 2-0 and 3-1 in the first period but rallied with a trio of unanswered second-period goals en route to a 4-3 win.
Anthony Lucarelli scored the first two goals for the Kings. Noah Eyre produced the tying goal and Turner Richards completed the comeback with the game winner.
Kings travel to Victoria to face the Grizzlies at the Q Centre on Saturday, December 17, Game time is 7 pm.
After a 13-day holiday season break, the same two teams will meet in Victoria on Friday, December 30, to resume the 2022/2023 BCHL season.
Powell River's next home game is scheduled for Friday, January 6, against Wenatchee Wild. Game time at Hap Parker Arena will be 7 pm.
