Surrey Eagles converted five of their 11 first period shots into goals en route to a 7-0 rout of Powell River Kings on Friday, November 4.

Powell River outshot the hosts 35-26 overall but were stymied on all attempts by Surrey goaltender Michael Sochan, who was named the BC Hockey League (BCHL) game’s first star.

Eagles rounded out the scoring with two goals in the second period.

Attendance at South Surrey Arena was 987.

Kings play in Coquitlam tonight (November 5), then face Langley on November 6.
