Braedon Behan scored twice to help Powell River Regals to a 4-2 win over the visiting Penticton Silver Bullets in senior hockey action at Hap Parker Arena on October 21.

Regals trailed 1-0 after 20 minutes but outscored their Okanagan opponents 3-1 in the second period to lead by a goal. Behan scored the first two for the home team, one on a power play and the second on a breakaway set up by Rick McLaren. Gabe Shipley added the eventual game winner prior to intermission.

The only third period goal came off the stick of Isaac Embree, who backhanded the puck into an empty net with 43 seconds remaining after the visitors had pulled their goalie in favour of an extra attacker.

The two teams meet again tonight at Powell River Recreation Complex. Game time is 7 pm.

Both teams are pursuing the Coy Cup, which is emblematic of senior AA hockey supremacy in British Columbia. They also met for a pair of games in Penticton last weekend.

Hockey action continues at Hap Parker Arena on Sunday, October 23, when Powell River Minor Hockey U18 Kings host Comox at 1:15 pm.
