Griffin Leach was born September 6, 2005.
He played his juvenile rep soccer with the Powell River Youth Soccer Association under coach Brett Pence, and played Tier 2 soccer for the Vancouver Island Performance League with coach Shel Brodsgaard.
He helped the 2014 boys’ rep team win the bronze medal in provincials with coach Dan Agius, scoring in the final game.
Griffin has played for Powell River Villa for two seasons, making him one of the youngest players ever to play for the team.
He plays midfield and is hoping to have a great year with the Vancouver Island Soccer League Division 1 club.
Villa's next home game is February 5 at Timberlane Park against Nanaimo United FC. Kickoff is 1:30 pm.
