Terrace downs Penticton at Coy Cup in Powell River

River Kings and Silver Bullets play final round-robin game; host club and Williams Lake still to play on day three

Powell River Recreation Complex is hosting Coy Cup 2024 this week.

Terrace River Kings faced Penticton Silver Bullets on Thursday, March 28, in the final 2024 Coy Cup round-robin game for both teams at Hap Parker Arena.

Terrace skated to 9-1 win and finished the round-robin portion of the AA provincial championship with two wins and one tie, and a goal differential of plus 10. Penticton finished with three losses and a minus 16 goal differential. 

Heading into the final round-robin game tonight, Powell River Regals have one win, one tie, and a plus-one goal differential. Their opponent, Williams Lake Stampeders, have one win, one loss and a plus-five goal differential.

The top team after the round-robin advances to Saturday’s championship game (7:30 pm). Second and third place teams meet in the semi-final on Friday, March 29, also at 7:30 pm.
