Armada beat Phoenix 3-2, force Game 7 of QMJHL first-round playoff series

BLAINVILLE-BOISBRIAND — Mathis Cloutier scored twice as the Blainville-Boisbriand beat the Sherbrooke Phoenix 3-2 Sunday and forced a decisive Game 7 in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League first-round series.

Eliot Ogonowski scored midway through the third period to break a 2-2 tie.

Etienne Tremblay-Mathieu and Mavrick Lachance scored for Sherbrooke.

Armada goaltender Olivier Ciarlo saved 30-of-32 shots, while Phoenix netminder Samuel St-Hilaire made 33 saves on 36 shots.

Game 7 will be played Tuesday in Sherbrooke, Que. The winner will face the Drummondville Voltigeurs in the quarterfinals.
