Powell River RCMP reported the following for February 28 to March 6, 2019.

February 28; Marine Avenue, 4400 block
At approximately 3:32 pm, police responded to a report of a possible impaired driver leaving a hotel on Marine Avenue. A licence plate was provided and police made extensive patrols in the area to locate the vehicle. Approximately 15 minutes later, the vehicle was located and stopped by police. The driver was determined to be sober, but did not have a valid driver’s license. The 26-year-old male driver was issued a violation ticket under the Motor Vehicle Act.

March 1; Duncan Street, 7000 block
At approximately 2:32 pm, police responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle. Approximately $8,000 worth of product was stolen from a semi-trailer in the parking lot of a business. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between midnight and 6 am.
