It is with heavy hearts that we announce David’s sudden passing at Lion’s Gate Hospital in Vancouver.

David is survived by his two children, son Daniel of Campbell River and daughter Jordynn of Powell River, parents Bela Love (Jim Brandon), Doug Love, sister Amanda Love and nephew Ashton.

David is also survived by Daniel’s mother Holly Knowles-Puglas, Jordynn’s mother Crystal Langan, friend Justine Bailie, best friend Ray Langan, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

David was a talented artist, self-taught diver, heavy duty equipment operator and a tug boat captain. He was able to master any challenges that were presented to him in his day-to-day life and was never afraid to tackle anything. He will be sadly missed by many that knew him.

Service will be held on Saturday, April 13 at 2 pm at Stubberfield Chapel. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice is appreciated.

Betty Ann Murray (née Watkins)

It is with sorrow that our family announces that following a brief illness, our beautiful Betty Ann passed away in Comox, BC on March 28, 2013 at the age of 68.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Bill of Comox, daughter Erin Shilliday (Joe) of Delta, grandson Callan, mother Rita Watkins (née Steen) father, the late Jack Watkins of Sudbury Ont., brother Jack (Lucy) of Guelph, beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Betty Ann can be made to the Comox Valley Hospice Society.

Celebration of Life for Johnny to be held Saturday, April 13 at 1 pm at Cranberry Pub


James Allister (Al) Bezanson

Al passed into the arms of Jesus on March 31, 2013. He was born in New Ross, Nova Scotia, February 8, 1944 and is survived by his wife Helene, sons Richard (Amanda) and Scott, daughter Lorenda (Mike) Richardson, stepsons Myles (Rene), Brent (Marita) Haase, stepdaughters Susan Haase and Holly (Bill) Stroomer, three brothers in Nova Scotia, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Al served as Core Sergeant Major for Salvation Army Powell River. He will be forever missed.

A service will be held on Saturday, April 13 at 1 pm at the Salvation Army. Officiating the service will be Captains Rick and Jennifer Robins.

Donations to Salvation Army in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated.
