A celebration of life for a pioneer of Powell River, Mary Masales, is to be held Saturday, April 26 from 1 to 4 pm at Town Centre Hotel.

It is with deep sadness that we announce Don’s sudden passing.
Don was a Powell River resident of 4 years and he loved this community. He’d often have a chat or kind word with people while on his daily walks.
Don had a wealth of knowledge and life experiences, which he loved to share. Don’s deepest wish was that we care for this precious jewel of an earth, each other and all sentient beings.
He leaves behind his parents Barbara and Bertil Skonberg, wife Anita Dyanne Zitko, stepdaughter Roseanna Sarty, stepson Angelo Sarty, brothers Craig, Chris, and Glen Skonberg and their wives and children.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Don on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Cranberry Seniors’ Centre (Small Hall), 6792 Cranberry Street, Powell River, at 2 pm. If you are musical, please bring along an instrument and/or a song.
