Colin Charles Peter Bergenham, January 18, 1935 - March 30, 2014
Colin passed away peacefully in his home on the morning of March 30 at the age of 79. He was born in Moberly, BC into a family of seven beautiful sisters.
Although they were separated at the age of four, they have been joyfully reunited over the years.
Colin graduated in 1953 from John Oliver high school in Vancouver. In 1958 he married the late Madelaine Joneson, mother of his three children. After serving on the Vancouver police force for five years, Colin and his family resided in Powell River, where he worked in the pulp and paper mill for over 25 years until his retirement.
Colin enjoyed reading, travelling and playing cards. In 1995, he married his beloved wife Laura Graham. Together they lived a peaceful and colourful life with their dog Max, taking in the vast view of the Strait of Georgia out their living room window.
Colin is survived by his wife Laura, his three children Tricia (Gord) of Powell River, Kim (Gilles) of Kamloops and Steven (Darlene) of Williams Lake. He is also survived by seven adoring grandchildren who, thanks to him, are great cribbage players. The family would like to thank Dr. Toole, Leanne and Robin for their loving care. Gratitude also to the kind and professional first responders on the day of Colin’s passing.
His wife, children and their spouses would like to invite all of Colin’s extended family and friends to a memorial service to be held at Stubberfield Funeral Home at 1 pm on Saturday, April 5. Refreshments to follow.

Glyn (Buck) Clutterbuck, May 13, 1926 - March 27, 2014
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved dad Glyn, with loved ones by his side. He leaves behind his loving wife of 65 years Lillian, children Bill (Monique), Judy (Bob), Linda (Richie) and Shirley (Ron). Papa will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Jenn (Elliot), Karin (Chris), Steve (Courteney), Kristin (Dennis), Lillian, Miranda, Bryant and Darren. Glyn was also Great Papa to 12 great-grandchildren.
Dad immigrated to Powell River from Wales with his family at the age of one. Growing up in Cranberry and settling in Edgehill, he established many life-long friends.
His family was the most important thing in his life. Dad had many talents. He could fix or build almost anything. He had a passion for the outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, camping, planting his garden or just fussing with his flowers.
Dad worked at different jobs. He worked a short time in the mill, in the logging industry and the rest of his working career at the municipality as superintendent of public works. We will miss his quick whit, sense of humour, followed by a smile and a sparkle in his eye. Dad taught us all to be great parents.
We learned it from the best. We will miss you and always love you. Raise a glass in his honour.
There will be no service by dad’s request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SPCA or the charity of your choice.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Westcoast Funeral Services.
God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be,
so he put his arms around you and whispered come to me.
With tearful eyes we watch you and saw you pass away, and
although we loved you dearly and could not make you stay,
A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove us, He only takes the best.
