He is survived by loving wife Helena, daughters Ina (Craig), Dana (Mike), step-daughter Milena (Jim) and step-grandsons Andrew and Chris. No Service by request. Timothy Floyd Lowery
Tim passed away suddenly on March 20, 2011. Tim was preceded by his mother Evelyn and brother Ken who Tim missed dearly. Tim will be sadly missed by his niece Sharalyn (Larry), great-niece and nephew Melissa and Michael, and his little dog Sam.
Tim lived on and loved Texada Island where he had many dear friends. Tim’s family wishes to thank his friends Joe, June, Glen, Leah and family; Heather, Jamie and family. You were all there to help Tim through his illnesses whenever needed and were of so much help and comfort to the family in his passing. There will be no service by Tim’s request. We must treasure the memories and good times and that will keep Tim close to our hearts.
Joan Marie Maitland, September 21, 1939 - March 1, 2011
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Joan was born in Shaunavon Saskatchewan and moved to Van Anda on Texada Island with her parents in 1943. She was predeceased by her parents Hector and Opal Waldorf, sister Carol Waldorf, brothers Grant and Les and cousin Gary. She leaves behind her husband Tom, son Darren (Tonya), daughter Sherry (Ron), grandson Brody, granddaughter Maitland, brother David, sister-in-law Carol, cousin Lyle (Elaine) and many nieces and nephews. Joan will be sadly missed but remembered with love by all who knew her.
A service celebrating her memory will be held on June 18, 2011 at 11 am at the Royal Canadian Legion Texada Branch 232.
