Jules (Jay) Miller Regnier, January 30, 1970 - August 6, 2012
The family of Jay Regnier is deeply saddened to announce his death. Jay is survived by his loving mother Carol, sister Jana, sons Dustin, Daniel and James and daughter Kayla. Jay will also be missed by his very special Carrie, as well as many family members and friends.
We would like to thank everyone for their kind words and support. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 14 at 2 pm at Lighthouse Community Church, corner of Burnaby Street and Michigan Avenue.

Grace Florence Mussellam, April 16, 1919 - August 2, 2012
The family of Grace Mussellam is sad to announce that she passed away peacefully, at Evergreen Extended Care Unit, after a long illness.
Left to mourn are her two sons George (Cynthia) and Gary (Nina), four grandchildren Michael (Vashti), Erin (Don), Sara (Brad) and Brian (Megan), and five great-grandchildren Maeve, Madigan, Jacob, Jaden and Gabe.
A celebration of life with family and friends is planned for a later date.
Margaret Sophia Maria Egberts, October 18, 1927 - August 5, 2012
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, Mom and Oma. Margaret was predeceased by her sons Mike and Bill and will be missed by Peter, her loving husband of 63 years, daughters Betty (Lee) and Peggy (Allan), grandchildren Dani (Mike), Roslyn, Conor (Dani), Joslyn (Steve), Darcy, Ryan, Aaron (Kayla), Joel and Kendra.
Born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands she immigrated to Canada as a new bride in 1949. After seven years in Mission, BC Margaret, Peter and their three children moved to Powell River in 1956, where their youngest daughter was born.
Our appreciation and thanks to Drs Morwood and May and all those at Powell River General Hospital who cared for her with such kindness.
Funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 10 at 11 am at Church of the Assumption. Reception to follow.
David William Hughes
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David William Hughes on June 22, 2012, in Powell River. He was 89 years old. Dave was predeceased by his wife Evelyn in 2007. He is survived by his three sons John (Paula), Ernie (Chris), Tom (Lorrie), two grandsons Aaron (Kerri) and David, and three great-grandchildren Cody, Kelsey and Cassidy.
In the last few years Dad had numerous health issues and so he moved in with our brother Tom and his wife Lorrie. We would like to thank Tom and Lorrie for taking such good care of Dad and making his final years happy and comfortable. Special thanks also goes to George Lawlor for all his help in caring for Dad.
There is another star in the heavens now, and Dave will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
If you wish to join us, the family will be having a celebration of life on Saturday, August 18, at 2 pm, at Tom and Lorrie’s home, 2825 Maywood Road, Powell River.
