Else Klara Johanna Dehmel, April 24, 1920 - July 24, 2012
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother. Elli was predeceased by her husband Gerhard and is survived by her three children, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Born in Breslau, Germany, Elli immigrated to Ontario in 1957 and moved to Powell River in 2000 to live with her daughter. Mom greatly appreciated the beauty that surrounds us. She was a true nature lover.
Our appreciation and heartfelt thank you to the compassionate and loving staff at Olive Devaud Residence. Words cannot express how deeply we appreciate all the care you provided. To Dr. Schweitzer, we are very thankful that mom was in your professional, compassionate care. To my wonderful and caring friends, thank you for all the support during this difficult time.
