Charlene Corbin, October 30, 1958 - August 5, 2013
The friends of Charlene are saddened to announce her sudden passing. Charlene was an avid animal lover, a bingo player and a great friend to all who knew and loved her. She was a core member of the Source Club, working hard to sustain the program by many hours. She was fully dedicated to the “Garage’s” success, as well as other duties around “The Club.”
Charlene’s friends will miss her loving and supportive nature and her sense of humour. She will also be sadly missed by Screwball, Miss Moo and friend Bennie.
Please join us to celebrate Charlene’s life on Wednesday, August 14, from 6 -9 pm at 4644 Harwood Avenue, Powell River, (bring lawn chairs). In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Source Club.
Rest in peace, Char – from your Powell River Family.

He was predeceased by his first wife Betty and is survived by his loving wife Lynn Cole, two sons Adam (Brenda) and Roger (Joy), brother Robert (Dolores), sister Lynne (Ron) Nott, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a large extended family.
Dave worked at the mill as a papermaker and held many interests such as cars, driving, boating, fishing, carpet bowling, square dancing, music, photography and model aircraft building. He had an ongoing concern in the Senior Citizens Association in Powell River and Texada Island and was a gentleman with a winning smile and a sense of humour that will be dearly missed.

Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. A celebration of life for Dave will be held on Friday, August 16 from 1 to 3 pm at Cranberry Seniors' Centre.
