Evelyn Sing, April 20, 1918 - December 4, 2011
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Evelyn Sing. She is survived by children Carol, Jack, Linda (Rod), grandchildren Becky (Greg), Aron (Lisa), and great-grandchildren Ryder and Lily. She is also survived by her sisters May, Rose, Yvonne (Chu), Lona, Star, Marline and Lily (Frank). She was predeceased by her first husband Henry in 1957, second husband Tom in 1970, parents Mr. and Mrs. Hoy, sisters Ann and Irene, and brothers Ben and Jack.
Born in Quesnel, the eldest of 12 children, Evelyn has lived in Powell River for 74 years. For many years she worked at the Penny Profit. She loved gardening, garage sales, cooking and time with family and friends.
Many thanks to Bill and Barb, Jack and Gloria, Brian and Dean for their kindness and to the caregivers our gratitude. Special thanks for the love and care from sister May. At a later date there will be a family gathering. She will be truly missed and can now fly with the angels!
