Audrey French, August 12, 1922 - November 25, 2014

Many people will remember Audrey from her job at BC Hydro, her work with the Alzheimer’s society and the long walks she enjoyed.

She is survived by her daughter Wanda (George) Cook, her son Timothy (Betsy) French, grandson Criss French and great-grandson Forest French. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence French and then by her loving companion Robert (Bob) Cram.

Many thanks to Dr. Du Toit and the staff at Olive Devaud Residence for the wonderful care and kindness she received during her year-long stay.

At her request there will be no service.

Chad Ernest Rekve, October 22, 1967 - November 25, 2014

Chad passed away peacefully at Powell River General Hospital with his family by his side.

He leaves behind his parents Grant and Verna Rekve, his siblings Darlene (Ritchie), Rick (Valerie) and Carol, nieces Melanie (Joseph), Nancy (Ben) and Emily and nephew Wesley as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins whom he adored.

Chad was very proud of his family and cherished his time with his nieces and nephews. He loved the simple things in life. As long as he was with his family, he was happy. Chad enjoyed hockey and loved to listen to music.

Special thank you to Knut and Donna Rekve for all your support, to Powell River General Hospital staff and to whoever stopped in to cheer up Chad’s days.

There will be a celebration of Chad’s life at 1 pm on Saturday, December 6 at Cranberry Seniors’ Centre.

You will be missed, Buddy.
