Roy Brown, July 19, 1927 - December 1, 2013 Roy was born in Cumberland, BC and grew up on Vancouver Island. He then moved to Powell River with his young family in 1955. Roy worked in automotive sales and service until retiring in 1994.

Roy was born in Cumberland, BC and grew up on Vancouver Island. He then moved to Powell River with his young family in 1955. Roy worked in automotive sales and service until retiring in 1994.

Roy is survived by his wife Rosemarie, sister Nancy in Red Deer, AB, his four sons David (Deb), Gary (Casey), Brian and Glen (Kathy-Jo) all of Powell River, grandsons Troy (Jill) Jaggard, Ryan (Cindy) and Justin (Kari), granddaughters Christina and Sydney and great-grandchildren Karla, Ryan, Erik, Avery and Victor.

The family would like to thank the staff at Olive Devaud Residence for their kind and compassionate care given to Roy. There will be no service by request.


Ronald Mark Hamilton, July 12, 1965 - November 24, 2013

Mark, at the age of 48, passed away peacefully at Powell River General Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Remembering Mark are his sons Jake and Kaeleb Hamilton, their mother Nina Hamilton and her daughter Talitha. Mark is also survived by his parents Janice Feeney and Ron and Margaret Hamilton, siblings and families Mike, Kelly-Jo, Courtney, Reagan and Ember Hamilton, Sharon, Yakira, Yesh and Ari Reuven, Gord, Missy and Taylor Hamilton, Corey and Kara Petalik, Ryan, Zora, Caelum and Saskia Soprovich, Uncle Bruce Hamilton and Aunt Suzanne Hamilton as well as many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 10 at 1 pm at Westview Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Powell River General Hospital Foundation or to Powell River Schizophrenia Society, 3610 Joyce Avenue, Powell River, BC, V8A 2Y6.

The entire family extends its heartfelt thanks to all who so generously and lovingly supported Mark and his family over so many years.
