Mary Elizabeth Engram, May 4, 1950 - February 15, 2015
Mary, 64, passed away peacefully in her home in Powell River, BC. A celebration of her life will be held at 1 pm Saturday, February 21 at Carlson Community Club, 4463 Joyce Avenue.
Born in Halifax, NS, the adventurous 19-year-old made her way to the west coast where she married and started her family, finally settling in Powell River. Besides her children and grandchildren Mary’s greatest joys in life were her gardens, animals and cooking meals and baking delicious foods to share with family and friends.
Mary was predeceased by baby sister Beatrice April and father, Douglas. She is sadly missed by mother Beatrice, brother Doug (Carol), sister Carol, daughter Cheri (Ciaran), son Ron (Cheryl), granddaughters Cassandra and Julianne, grandson Matthew, great-grandson, Cody, niece Alice (Mike, Adam and Peter) and nephew John (Heather and Ashton).
