Harry Filewich, September 22, 1928 – January 6, 2011
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather “Giddo.” He is survived by his wife of 52 years Verna, sons Gary (Mary Ann), Robert (Allison) and Michael (Carole), his sister Olga Pylypa, brothers Jerry and Ron Filewich, his grandchildren Carly, Jenna, Andrew, Cameron, and Kurtis and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 22 at 2 pm in the Trinity Hall of the United Church. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the Powell River Hospital Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society if so desired.
