Evelyn Davidson, June 28, 1937 - January 15, 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce that Evelyn passed away suddenly on January 15, 2013 at the age of 75.
Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Dave in 1987 and will be greatly missed by her daughters Marlene Davidson and Heather (Bruce) Currie and the many friends she gained while living in Powell River for more than 40 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 20 at 3 pm at Powell River United Church.
Raymonde Reneé DeVito, August 30, 1922 - January 14, 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymonde. She will be remembered by her loving husband Louie, sister-in-law Edith and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Marie and Robert Bezencon and sister Mary.
Raymonde worked for many years as a travel agent in Powell River and travelled to Switzerland and throughout Europe. She will be remembered for walking everywhere she needed to go and for enjoying her ice cream and chocolate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Powell River General Hospital Foundation. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 19 at 1 pm at Powell River United Church.
Sally Lorraine Stevenson, October 13, 1945 - January 14, 2013
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sally Stevenson, formerly of Powell River, a special mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Sally was predeceased by husband Robert and son Bobby. She leaves behind her daughter Diane Stevenson, grandchildren Jessica and Tyler Grant, sister Barb (Gordie) Woods, brothers Ken (Linda) Frederick, Barry (Irene) Frederick and Brian Waite.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 26, at 1:30 pm at Salvation Army Community Church, 291 McLean Street, Campbell River, BC.
The emptiness she has left in all our lives can only be understood by those who knew and loved her.
