Martha “Margo” Kressel, January 21, 1927 - March 16, 2014
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Margo. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel and is survived by her loving son Dan, relatives in Saskatchewan and many, many wonderful, loving, cherished friends whom she adored like family.
She loved “going to work” at Powell River Health-Care Auxiliary and is remembered as one of the “Golden Girls” waitresses at Marine Inn.
Many thanks to all who cared for her and shared coffee and meals with her. Thank you to the nurses at both Powell River General Hospital and Evergreen Extended Care Unit.
No service by request. Donations to Powell River Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
“I’ll love you until the day I die.”

The family wishes to thank all those who shared in Granny’s faith walk, especially those who so graciously visited, sang hymns, read scripture and prayed with her over the last few weeks.
Thank you to Dr. Lynskey, nurses and staff at Powell River General Hospital, Home Support, Library Books on Wheels as well as Meals on Wheels. Special thanks to nurses Marie, Christy and Shannon for their care of Granny in her final days.
