Juanita James, August 26, 1937 - April 18, 2012
Juanita passed away at Richmond Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 26 at 2 pm at Kelly Creek Community Church, 2380 Zilinsky Road.
France Jacynthe Gendron, April 8, 1955 – April 26, 2012
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of France Jacynthe Gendron after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was predeceased by her mother Therese Gendron and brother Daniel. She is survived by her daughter Lynn (David) Ellis, her son Guillaume (Heather), father Roger, brothers Luc, Dennis, Jacques (Agathe), sister Lucie as well as her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her nephew Patrick, Ruth and her dear friend Tim, who tirelessly stayed with her through her final days.
France had a kind spirit and big heart. Those who knew and loved France will remember her ready smile and warm hugs.
A celebration of her life will take place on Sunday, May 6 at Community Living Place, 6831 Artaban Street in Powell River from 1 to 3 pm. All who knew France are welcome to join us on this day to remember her with tears and laughter.
