With family by his side, Stan passed away peacefully at the age of 84.

Erika Irma Bauerochse, April 25, 1920 - October 3, 2013
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Erika. She was predeceased by her husband Hans and son Wolfram. Erika leaves behind her daughter-in-law Ruby, grandchildren Cindy and Michael and great-grandchildren Foxworth and Jensen. She also leaves many nieces and nephews in Germany.
Erika was born in Ketschendorf, Germany, and came to Canada in 1952 as a young wife and mother. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Association for many years and enjoyed the companionship of her ladies’ German clubs for over 55 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cranberry Seniors’ Centre.
Gerardo (Jerry) Vodola, February 22, 1940 - October 7, 2013
Born in Ruvo del Monte, Italy, Jerry passed away suddenly in Powell River at the age of 73. He is survived by his loving wife Anita, children Laura (Pat) DeStefano of Port Moody, BC and Robby of Kitimat, BC, grandchildren Karina and Nathan, sisters Rose of Burnaby, Maria in Italy and many other family members in Powell River and Italy.
Jerry is also going to be missed by his loyal companion and canine friend Emma. He was predeceased by his mother, father and three brothers.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, October 15, at Church of the Assumption. Entombment followed in the Garden of Rest Mausoleum, Cranberry Cemetery.
Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC and Yukon if desired. Arrangements entrusted to Stubberfield Funeral Home Ltd.
Giuseppe (Joe/Pabbo/Nonno) Prosperi-Porta, August 8, 1931 - October 11, 2013
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Giuseppe. Family and friends are invited to attend prayers on Friday, October 18 at 7 pm at St. Gerard's Roman Catholic Church in Wildwood. Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 19 at 11 am, also at St. Gerard's.
