Elsie Cooper, September 8, 1916 - September 14, 2012

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Elsie at the age of 96. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred (Alf) Cooper in 1996, daughter Brenda in 2007, daughter Beryl in 1995 and granddaughter Kelly in 1962.

Elsie married Alf in 1936 and was happily married until his death in 1996. She is survived by her son Brian (Antonia) Cooper, Barb Gagnon, son-in-law Roy DeGraag, eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Elsie was proud of the fact that after finishing school she went into service for the Lord Mayor of London, Sir Kynaston Studd. She was also heard to remark that she was the last child left of a family of 16 children.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Breast Cancer Society are appreciated. A celebration of life will take place on Monday, October 8 in Princeton, BC.

You will always be in our hearts.
