Earle enjoyed working with horses and continued to shoe them well into his late 70s. He loved animals, especially horses, dogs and cats and working outdoors. Earle will always be remembered by his wink and smile. He was a strong, yet gentle man, who was loved dearly, and will be sadly missed.

The family would like to thank Dr. Anne-Marie McGuire and the loving, caring staff of the Olive Devaud Care Residence for their special care and kindness. Friends are welcome to meet at Earle’s home in Powell River on Wednesday, September 5 from 6 - 8 pm to celebrate his life. A family gathering is to be held at a later date in Ontario, where Earle is to be laid to rest next to his wife, Doris.
