HAMILTON — Hamilton police are looking to identify a suspect and a woman believed to be a witness in a shooting that left a 25-year-old man dead in the community of Dundas.

Investigators say they were called shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday to the area of 77 Governors Rd., where they found a man unresponsive.

They say the man, who has since been identified as Zachary Shuman, died at the scene shortly afterward.

Police say Shuman's grey Dodge Ram was found nearby, and a blue Ford Edge was seen leaving the scene. The Ford has not yet been recovered.

Investigators say the drivers of the two vehicles also had a brief interaction in the parking lot of a nearby Metro before the incident.

Police say they are seeking a witness described as having shoulder length brown hair and wearing red or orange shorts.

They're also asking anyone who was in the area to check security or dashcam footage between 4:45 p.m. and 5:10 p.m. for anything suspicious.
