Mark me well; the history of the Sunshine Coast will record 2025 as “The Summer Of No Complaints.” Millennials will say to their grandchildren “Yes, dear, there was one year of happiness on the Sunshine Coast. It was back in…oh, let me see…yes, back in ’25 when BC Ferries instituted hourly ferry service. Crime fell. Town councillors got along. The gardens were bountiful. And there was peace in the land…all because BC Ferries instituted hourly service. Maybe, child, it will happen again sometime in your lifetime. But not in mine.”
