Regarding the proposed name change for Powell River Regional Hospital District, it seems only fair that the whole community be asked for its opinion regarding the proposed name change [“Powell River Regional Hospital District board to consider name change,” January 14].
Why is only Tla’amin Nation being asked for its input? Indigenous people represent less than five per cent of the total regional population.
A full representation of our community regarding this issue is only just.
