As a former Powell River resident I am delighted to see the rebirth of the Patricia Theatre.
Great to hear about the impressive attendance figures for the film festival, too [“More than 2,500 attend Powell River Film Festival,” April 13].
Your theatre is a gem, and my wife and I had the privilege of touring the Patricia in 2018.
Every city and town deserves a theatre, and Powell River is very fortunate in having one as beautiful and historic as the Patricia.
