Robert Hackett has employed the time-honoured tactic of distraction; he distracts us from the central issue of COVID-19 restrictions [“Viewpoint: Misunderstanding the charter of rights and freedoms,” April 28].
If he was an honest observer he would have begun with a discussion of the merits of the various COVID restrictions, however, that discussion would lead to a conclusion of government malfeasance, which is the reason for the freedom convoys.
His intent was to dox those who oppose government malfeasance. Shame on Hackett for his thinly veiled attack on those who oppose government malfeasance.
