Fading signs
For three years now I have watched the Cranberry Lake signs fade away [“Tourism signage project steps closer to funds,” February 4].
If I were just visiting and seeing these signs at the entrance to Cranberry I would probably think that this is a community with very little civic pride. Well, I want to say that is far from being the case. The people of this little community are a proud bunch and would not appreciate such a title.
It would seem that the City of Powell River is the one that is responsible for these signs. We of Cranberry Lake ask for these signs to be repaired and please hurry before we fade from sight.
