Heartwarming response
It was a great feeling to read the Peak’s article on page three on the search for mom and baby [“Community comes together to search for mom and baby,” October 31].
With all the bad things going on in our world today I had tears in my eyes when I read about volunteers from Powell River, Sechelt, Campbell River and Comox out until 3:30 am and back at 7 am until they found mom and baby at noon.
Hats off to the volunteers.
