The Peak polled 456 readers and asked the question: Should online learning be used for public K-12 schools in BC this January due to rising omicron/coronavirus cases?

The poll ran from 12/30/2021 to 1/6/2022. Of the 456 votes, we can determine that 213 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:

Yes 52.11 % local, 54.39 % total
No 47.89 % local, 45.61 % total
  Local   Total

Results are based on an online study of readers who are located in the qathet region. The margin of error - which measures sample variability - is +/- 4.51%, 19 times out of 20.

The Peak uses a variety of techniques to capture data, detect and prevent fraudulent votes, detect and prevent robots, and filter out non-local and duplicate votes.
