Poll: 56 per cent disagree with going against staff recommendations regarding apartment building

OPTIONS CONSIDERED: City of Powell River councillors recently debated the merits of allocation of affordable housing units in a proposed apartment complex between Alberta and Franklin avenues, narrowly passing the first three readings to a bylaw that would permit construction on the facility.

The Peak polled 513 readers and asked the question: Do you agree with City of Powell River Council's decision to accept a developer’s housing offer rather than a staff recommendation?
