Powell River Wedding Expo returns for another year, highlighting the best local wedding professionals to help couples plan their special day. With breathtaking wedding dresses and displays from the most trusted wedding experts, attendees are sure to find everything they need to ease the stress of making their wedding extraordinary.
“All of our wedding professionals have an enormous amount of passion and commitment in making your day special,” says expo co-organizer Kelly Lefler. “Your wedding is one of the biggest days of your life, so we want to make your experience as easy and enjoyable as possible.”
The expo allows future brides and grooms the opportunity to plan, shop and book everything for their wedding in one convenient place. The expo will also provide visitors with expert advice from wedding professionals, save time by having everything under one roof and save money with discounts and special offers only available to wedding expo attendees.
The first 25 brides-to-be through the door will receive a swag bag with extra savings. There will also be chances to win draw prizes every half hour during the afternoon event. Vendors include venues, caterers, florists, photographer/videographers, cake decorators, relationship coaches, skin-care consultants, hair and makeup experts, wedding planners and many more.
“We will even have a performance coach available to help you with public speaking in order to deliver the perfect toast,” says co-organizer Modena Warman. “Also, you can enjoy a special performance from a wedding singer, see all of the stunning wedding dresses, and all of the other extras we have planned.”
New this year is a silent auction for more than 20 wedding dresses of different sizes and styles, with bids starting anywhere from $75 to $1,000. Also, a fashion show takes place at 1 pm after the wedding singer performance at noon.
“You won’t want to miss this event,” says Lefler, “so grab your bridal party, fiancée and everyone who is helping you plan your special day and join us at the expo.”
