According to Powell River Sunshine Coast Real Estate Board MLS statistics for 2022, Royal LePage Powell River was the region’s number one real estate company of choice.

For those living in the area and looking to buy or sell a home, Royal LePage has them covered, says owner and managing broker Warren Behan, who has nearly 33 years of experience in the industry.

“If anyone is considering purchasing or selling a home, any of our experienced agents would be happy to meet with them to give them a current home value,” he adds. “Or explain the buying process in detail and how it works.”

Although there have been many changes to the industry over three decades, Warren works with his team to offer the best experience for their clients.

“Today’s marketing is much different than it was years ago,” he explains. “Before, we only had print advertising, although print advertising is still very important.

“But the internet plays a huge role. Social media, the quality of video and camera work that can be done now is so much different than it was years ago. And it’s been embraced by all our agents, who like to use all the modern technology to maximize the seller’s value.”

Warren says Royal LePage can take calls seven days a week, offering three full-time administrators and a management team to expedite and tailor client needs.

But the company doesn’t only offer home buying and selling services. Royal LePage provides full-time, licensed property managers and administrators, who do much more than list and advertise properties and collect rent.

Acting as the landlord in compliance with the BC Residential Tenancy Act, the property management team will match and screen applicants for the owner. After the tenant moves in, there will be inspections, routine maintenance, repairs and more.

“Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality of service and peace of mind with the assurance that your investment is in good hands,” says Warren. “We inspect the home and handle the problems as they arise. We are the ones who receive the midnight calls when the hot water tank bursts, not you.”

Warren says he and his team are not just in the business of selling real estate, they’re a company that cares about the community and likes to be involved.

“It’s about giving back, and everyone here, the realtors and the admins, are all committed to the community, which is kind of nice. You can be reassured when hiring a realtor with Royal LePage Powell River that you are supporting a local company that gives back to our community.”

Royal LePage, which is celebrating seven years of being locally owned, is a platinum sponsor of the Powell River Film Festival, game night sponsor for the Powell River Kings, and contributes to organizations such as Grace House and Powell River and District United Way.

The local office is actively growing and looking for bright, dynamic and highly productive sales agents. Real estate offers an opportunity to build a business and income potential while positively impacting people’s lives.

With a complete mentorship program, agents will build knowledge, skills and confidence at each stage of their career with advanced sales, marketing and technology training, coaching programs and best-in-class partners to help them achieve their full potential. All candidates need to bring with them is a customer-focused, self-starter attitude and excellent communication skills, says Warren.

“Training is important to us,” he adds. “We like to have a hands-on approach to guide our new realtors through a mentoring program so they can feel comfortable and confident giving professional service to buyers and sellers.”
