Powell River Pee Wee Rep Kings booked a spot in the 2019 BC Hockey Pee Wee Tier 3 Championship gold-medal game with a 1-0 win over Whistler at Hap Parker Arena on Wednesday, March 20.
Max Carlson scored the only goal of the semi-final matchup and goaltender Hunter Bolen stopped all the shots he faced to lead the host club to within one win of a provincial title.
Powell River awaits the winner of the second semi-final between Whitehorse and Quesnel, which gets underway at 6 pm tonight. The gold-medal game starts at 11 am on Thursday, March 21.
Whistler will play for bronze against Whitehorse or Quesnel at 8 am, also on Thursday.
