Powell River Pee Wee Reps win Hometown Heroes Hockey Tournament

Team finishes with undefeated record

FIRST PLACE: Powell River Pee Wee Reps recently brought home a gold medal from the Ridge Meadows Hometown Heroes Hockey Tournament.

The hockey team came out on top among the eight teams entered in its tier. Powell River defeated Langley 6-0 in the final after winning its previous four games, including 6-0 over North Delta, 5-1 over Ridge Meadows, 8-1 over Langley and a 10-3 victory over Surrey in the semi-final.

The tournament took place from from January 2 to 5.
