Powell River students join Global Climate Strike

HUGE MOVEMENT: Joining the worldwide climate action strike were several dozen Brooks Secondary School students, carrying placards and chanting outside of the school on Friday, September 27.

A group of Brooks students also gathered outside Powell River-Sunshine Coast MLA Nicolas Simons’ office on Marine Avenue, joined by other protesters supporting the movement.
